I love the beach! Sand is so much fun to play with!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
On Sunday Mama and Papa took me to the beach for the very first time. That was awesome!
As I’m not fully vaccinated just yet, we have to be very very careful where to go and I’m not allowed to play with other dogs, I don’t know- so it was a challenge to find a place where we can play at the beach, without running into a bunch of off-leash dogs.
But we found a nice place around Half Moon Bay. Because it was a very foggy day, not many people where here, so I could dig some holes, watch seagulls and I had my first encounter with the Pacific Ocean.
I have to say, I’m not a fan! Nope! Not at all!
I was just minding my own business when a wave hit me. Bleugh! That salty water is horrible, and wet!
After that sudden bath, I stayed away from those nasty waves and dug another hole in the beach instead. That was so much more fun!
When we came back home in the evening, I had to take a shower, because I was all sandy. I think I might still have some sand on my nose. Tee-hee. But I had so much fun and I can’t wait to go to the beach soon again.

Hi Pepper,
You sure are a total cutie!! I’m so happy to know you – that beach looks like fun, make the most of it while you’ve got short fur!
That wave sounds mean, you should have stomped all over it! Tee Hee
Me thinks you live kind of close to me as my Mum knows that beach, maybe one day we could play?
Glad you’re having fun,
Your pal Snoopy

Hi Snoopy
Thanks a lot! The beach was really really fun, but I had to take a shower afterwards. Guess it’s not getting any better with the grown-up Beardie coat and all that sand. I think we’re living close too. I’d love to meet you. You seem to be a great guy to hang out with and I guess I could learn a lot about being a Beardie from you
Your new friend
