I am so sorry to have not posted in such a long time. I have to admit, Mama and I were a little lazy when it comes to blogging, there was just too much going on lately. But now we’re back on track and will keep you updated on all my latest adventures.

So what was going on?

It all began in late December when Mama and Papa went to Europe for a few days to visit the families over there. Except for Papa’s Dad and Mama’s Mummy I haven’t met any member of my European human family yet and would have loved to travel too, but Mama and Papa told me, that it was waaaaay to exhausting for a little Puppy like me to go on a plane for hours and hours for such a short time over there. And they were also concerned about the vaccination requirements over there so they told me, that I’ll have to wait until I’m a little older to travel that far. So while they were traveling I got to spend a few days in Bakersfield at my Breeders house. That was soooo much fun!!!! Not only was I happy to see her and her family again, but also my Beardie Mum, Dad, Auntie and sister Pauli. Pauli came from the same littler as me so it was extra joyful to be reunited with her. We played all day long!
It was fantastic!!! But I have to admit that I was very happy when Mama and Papa came to Bakersfield shortly after Christmas to pick me up and take me home again.

Yes I’m a little princess and enjoy being the center of Mama’s and Papa’s attention – teehee
Here, I said it ;-)

Since then:

– I went to my very first New Year’s Party – that was sooo cool
– I was at a professional grooming salon – not a fan
– Met another Beardie at my favorite Dog Park – he’s from the same breeder but we’re not related
– grew a few inches and gained weight – I think it’s mostly my coat that’s getting fuller

and

started a tricks class at Puppy School.

I’m indeed a busy puppy :-)

I promise to keep posting more often again and tell you all about my new tricks class and what else is going on in my life.

Wow! Just wow! Last weekend was EPIC!!!
On Saturday, my Mama and Papa had arranged a play date with my friend Moxie. Moxie is a French Bulldog Puppy I met during my evening walks in summer when she and I were just tiny puppies. Moxie also has a
Facebook page like I do and is the loveliest French Bulldog puppy you can think of. We haven’t seen each other for a while now, because it gets dark so early these days, that we missed each other on our daily walks.
This is why I’m soooo glad our humans set up this play date. It was EPIC!
We played a lot that afternoon! We ran, we wrestled, we cuddled and jumped up and down. Fun! Fun! Fun!
I really hope that I’ll meet Moxie again very soon, because playing with her is always fantastic!
You can imagine how pooped I was afterwards.

All the photos of Moxie and me were shot by Moxie’s Papa btw. I think those photos are awesome!!!

And I needed all the sleep I could get that night, because on Sunday, Mama, Papa and me drove all the way up north to Tiburon to meet some of my Beardie friends.
We joined some of the members of the Northern California Bearded Collie Fanciers Club for a Beardie Holiday walk.

That was so funny! There were so many Beardies that everybody that walked by was smiling and giggling. It was too cute! All this tail wagging and bouncing. Beardies are really fun to hang out with. Not a bad word and even the older ones enjoyed being cuddled and kissed by me. Tee-hee.

I met my friends Kalle and Sepp again and made a ton of new friends that day. I also met Maverick, a Beardie from my Breeder too. Although we don’t share the same parents I felt a connection with him right away. My Mama and Papa told me later that day, that they’ve met him almost a year ago at a workshop in Pacifica and that he was one of the reasons they decided to adopt me.

THANK YOU MAVERICK!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU :-)

After a looooooong walk with all my Beardie friends Mama, Papa stopped on the way back home at a Golden Gate Bridge Vista Point to make family portraits. Wohoo! Finally! Now we’ve got a nice set of family portraits and I’m in each and every one of them.

I love my family

…my family, my friends, my toys and that I got some of the Thanksgiving Turkey (tee-hee)
Last Thursday was a huge thing! I could tell because Papa went to the dog park with me early in the morning and when we came back home, the whole house was smelling soooooo delicious. Mama was in the kitchen for hours already and I saw a huge bird in the oven.
In the afternoon we got some of Mama’s and Papa’s friends coming to our place and they even brought a little furry friend for me. His name was Griffin and I liked him a lot. We had great fun. And those humans were great too. They all played with me. That was awesome!
Then the humans had dinner, featuring this gigantic turkey. It smelled soooooo fantastic!
After the humans had finished, I got some of it too. Yummy!!!
Mama said, that this big day was called Thanksgiving, and that I have to tell what I’m grateful for. Well, there you go.

Hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving too.

My favorite toy – Horst, the boar – was almost destroyed by me. NOOOOOOOOOO!

See for yourself:

Mama said he’s now called “nearly-headless-Horst”

I was devastated. I loved Horst sooooo much! Mama said I couldn’t play with him any more because the stuffing was coming out and she didn’t want me to eat it. EAT IT? ME?

….well probably – teehee

So imaging how sad I was when we had to say goodbye to Horst.

But then, something nice happened. Mama went shopping and when she came back she brought Horst’s twin brother Horst II!

Wohoooooo! I’m a happy puppy again

Wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving tomorrow and lots and lots of Turkey (hope I’ll get some too)

And because it’s Wednesday, here’s the blog hop to hop around …
