I can’t believe what happened today.

Mama was working in the kitchen all morning. That usually means she’s preparing something yummy smelling for everyone but me. But today was different.

After hours of that yummy peanut butter smell in the air, I couldn’t believe my luck. I got a yummy yummy treat.

Mama made Peanut Butter Oat Biscuits that looked like doggy bones. Soooooooooooo delicious!

She told, me that she got the recipe from Janine Adams Book “You Bake’m Dog Biscuits” and that those were  just the first few treats and that I can look forward to many more to come.

Wohoooooooo!!!!

I so not can wait for the next load. But for I’ll have to eat the peanut butter ones first. Which isn’t a real problem – teehee.

Soooooo yummy. Mama is awesome and I’m glad she did that just for me, her spoiled little princess (that’s how she calls me sometimes-dunno why ;-) )

I’m so nervous and excited…

Last Tuesday, I went to my Puppy 1 class as usual, and all of a sudden, everybody was talking about the finals and graduation and stuff.

Wow, seems Puppy 1 class is coming to an end next week already. This means the 16th will be graduation day. I’m so nervous, because we have to show our trainer Peggy everything we’ve learned in the last few weeks and at least one cool trick.

I’m sooooo nervous.

Mama and Papa are convinced that I’ll pass and that I’ll graduate with “flying colors” whatever that means but I’m not sure if I can pull it off. So we’re practicing a lot.

Sit, down, stay, stand, leave it, drop it, walk nicely on the leash….

Sooooo much to remember.

But Mama and Papa told me, that I’m doing great so far and that I already know some cool tricks and that I shouldn’t worry.

But I guess I could work a little bit more on some of my tricks. Giving a “high five” / “shaking paw” is so easy, that’s for babies. I’ll work on my “bang and drop dead” and my “show belly” trick instead. I sometimes just don’t remember how they are performed but Mama and Papa promised to practice with me every day until graduation…

Keep your paws crossed that I’ll pass.

I’m growing up!

Today I lost the first of my Puppy teeth. Mama had suspected this might happen for a few days now. Just yesterday she told our neighbor, that my upper jaw gums were swollen and that I’ll soon lose my first tooth. She even showed it to her. And worst of all she did that all in front of my best friends Jessie the Dachshund and Lea, the white french fluff ball. Can you imaging how embarrassing that was?

Next thing she does is showing a picture of me in the bath tub to everyone…

But anyhow, I’m growing up, I lost one of my teeth and didn’t even realize it until Mama found out and next I’ll be graduating from Puppy 1 class.

Time flies especially when you’re a dog.

I love the beach! Sand is so much fun to play with!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
On Sunday Mama and Papa took me to the beach for the very first time. That was awesome!

As I’m not fully vaccinated just yet, we have to be very very careful where to go and I’m not allowed to play with other dogs, I don’t know- so it was a challenge to find a place where we can play at the beach, without running into a bunch of off-leash dogs.
But we found a nice place around Half Moon Bay. Because it was a very foggy day, not many people where here, so I could dig some holes, watch seagulls and I had my first encounter with the Pacific Ocean.
I have to say, I’m not a fan! Nope! Not at all!
I was just minding my own business when a wave hit me. Bleugh! That salty water is horrible, and wet!
After that sudden bath, I stayed away from those nasty waves and dug another hole in the beach instead. That was so much more fun!
When we came back home in the evening, I had to take a shower, because I was all sandy. I think I might still have some sand on my nose. Tee-hee. But I had so much fun and I can’t wait to go to the beach soon again.

Sundays are my favorite days! Mama and Papa take me to Puppy social meet-ups.

Last Sunday was my second time here and it was much more fun this time than the last, because there were a lot more Puppies. I also made a new friend. I had so much fun playing with him, that I totally forgot to ask for his name. Will do that next Sunday. I really really hope he’s coming again.

Puppy social is so much fun! I get to play with a lot of different puppies for an hour. That’s awesome.

Here’s a little video of me and my new friend playing:
